We recommend using ZOOM as your meeting platform.  Here is a detailed Youtube video on how to set up your account.

We advise that you keep your Connect Life under 12 people.  The smaller the number, the more intimate of a setting you can cultivate.

We encourage all Connects to meet on a bi-weekly basis for a 3 month period.  That will give people a break from the commitment of meeting on a consistent basis and keep the morale and expectancy high when members return.

We’ve got you covered! Apostle Williams has given us a 6-part training module on all the ins and outs of hosting a WOOMC Connect Life. These modules will equip you with all the tools you need to start your own Connect whenever you get ready!

Yes!  We are asking that anyone who is interested in hosting a Connect Life has been a member of WOOMC for AT LEAST one year.  On the other hand, you do not need to be a member of WOOMC to simply join a Connect Life.

We want to empower our WOOMC Connect Life hosts to choose content that is appropriate for your specific Connect Life.  An amazing place to start when searching for resources is to use what we already have in house.  Apostle A.R. Williams and Elder Sherrilyn Williams have a plethora of books and resources for you to use as content for your Connect Life.  You are also welcome to use resources such as YouVersion Bible Studies, Rightnowmedia.org, and other sermons, books, and devotionals that align with the DNA of our church and are biblically sound.  If you have questions about any resources, please email us at awilliams3@woomc.org to get your resources approved.

  • Ask those you have the closest relationships with. They are the ones most likely to give you an immediate yes to your invitation.
  • Ask people in person. The more personal invitation methods are, the most effective.
  • Use your social media
  • Utilize church, work, social settings, the grocery store, etc.
  • Ask God to put people in your path that need your invitation.
