Lead Pastor

Andre Monie is a servant leader who is passionate about empowering the next generation of believers to love God, embrace others, and touch destiny. He has faithfully served World Overcomers Church for almost 25 years. He served as the program director for WOOMC’s radio station, WLRM 1380, from 2002-2005; WOOMC’s Sound Ministry director from 2006-2013; WOOMC Helps Ministry overseer from 2013-2014; WOOMC’s chief pastoral officer on Apostle Williams’ executive team from 2019–2025; WOOMC Pathway and Apostolic Center University leadership teacher from 2022-2025; and a program director for our New Flow Radio Station from 2021 to the present. His commitment to God was rewarded when, on Sunday, August 3, 2025, Apostle and Elder Williams appointed him and his wife, Wyndi Monie, to pastor World Overcomers Church.

His heart for God and passion for people were cultivated through his gift for music and broadcasting, where he began as a radio DJ/announcer in 1985. By the time he responded to God’s call to pastor, he had become one of the most familiar voices in Christian radio in our region, offering entertaining, godly encouragement to thousands of listeners each workday.

Pastor Monie has determined to build upon the foundation laid by Apostle Williams with a laser-focused vision on CONNECTION. Connect the unbeliever to God through salvation. Connect the new convert to the Body of Christ through service in the local church. Connect the believer to their purpose in God through discipleship and equipping. World Overcomers Church will win souls, see them mature in serving, and equip them to do the work of the ministry.

Pastor Monie and his wife, First Lady Wyndi, have three children: Taiye Monie (and wife Leilani Hope), Andre Monie, and Evan Monie.

Alton Williams is the Founding Apostle of World Overcomers Outreach Ministries Church (WOOMC) in Memphis, Tennessee. Since 1981, WOOMC has grown to a membership of over 17,000 people, with a satellite church in Jackson, TN, a Hispanic congregation, and a church sponsorship in Haiti. We are known for transforming lives with the Word of God, helping people to love God, embrace others, and reach their destiny.

Apostle Williams is passionate about training people, pastors, and churches to impact the world for God’s kingdom. He has authored hundreds of books and manuals and has led WOOMC in local, national, and international outreach efforts. In 2025, he established an apostolic center to teach believers how to win souls, disciple converts, and minister healing, deliverance, miracles, and more.

Alton and his wife, Sherrilyn, have five children: Altronise, Sheronda, Alton Jr., Allison (married to Andy Carver), Joy, and two grandsons, Amari Justice Carver and Julian Roosevelt Carver.
